Introduction
The trainee program is one of the Exchange Visitor Programs hosted by the U.S. Department of State.
The program allows professionals to come to the United States to work in local enterprises, immerse themselves in American culture, receive systematic guidance and training, and improve skills in their chosen occupational fields.
The program enables young people from all over the world to start a successful career by gaining work experience in the United States.
FlyingSheep helps young people go to the United States to participate in the internship/trainee program and provides support and assistance during their work and life in the United States.

Before starts:
1. Learn about the program and sign up

Before the program starts, the employer needs to sign a completed Trainee Placement Plan to ensure that the entire internship program is tailored to the skills and experience level of the individual trainee and is consistent with the objective of the trainee. The trainee is under the supervision and mentor of experienced staff and receives adequate skills training and practicing opportunities.
During:
1. Log in to the SEVIS system as soon as you arrive in the United States.
2. Get your Social Security Number which is proof of legal work.
Participants in programs that exceed six months must be evaluated at midpoint and at the conclusion of the program; and for programs with durations of less than six months, an evaluation is required at the conclusion of the program.
When you encounter any problems in the United States, please talk to your employer and sponsor in a timely manner.
After the completion of the program, participants return to their home country and obtain the Trainee Certificate issued by FlyingSheep.
Q: Is the trainee position equivalent to the official position of the company?
A: No.
Q: Is the trainee full-time?
A: Yes, at least 32 hours a week.
Q: Can I find my own offer?
A: Yes. Trainee positions are very popular, and the demand exceeds supply. We encourage you to get your own offer. In addition, the cost of the program with its own offer will be reduced accordingly.
Q: Can my spouse and/or children go to America together?
A: Yes. Your spouse and/or children must obtain a J-2 visa, and U.S. laws require that J-2 visa holders must purchase medical and accident insurance and cannot work in the United States.
Q: Will I be picked up after arrival?
A: Before departure, participants will communicate with their employers about airport pickup.
Q: Can I participate again after the completion of the program?
A: Yes. After returning to China for two years after the completion of the program, they can continue to participate, or apply for a waiver during the program.
